Tawarri Grove is situated on the upper slopes of Towac Pinnacle, part of the Mt Canobolas volcanic complex in Orange, NSW. At an elevation of 1100-1200 metres, it is the highest grove in the country. Our trees enjoy the snowfalls we have each winter, as do the kangaroos and people.
We have a rainfed grove, relying on our 1100 mm median rainfall to support the 3000 trees.
Natural bushland is around the grove. Neighbouring orchards produce cherries, apples, grapes, berry fruit and gourmet foods for Australia.
